By accessing or using Write a Story ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

Description of Service

Write a Story is an AI-assisted storytelling platform that helps users create narrative content. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, but users retain full creative control over their stories.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the stories and content you create using Write a Story. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

Our Content: The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Write a Story and its licensors.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Use the Service for any commercial purposes beyond personal storytelling without our consent

Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI through our Service is provided "as is." While we strive for quality, we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content will be free from errors, appropriate for all purposes, or meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Write a Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
